Preparing for Life after Death
In Islam, worshiping God is not limited to mosque prayers as many people think. Going to work, feeding your kids, helping others, looking after your health, reading & learning, planting trees, looking after the environment and even resting among many others. Everything we do for a good purpose is an act of worship and it’s added to our good deeds. God is Gracious.
On the other hands, sins we commit is added to our bad deeds. What if you have done so many sins? what if you never believed in God? what if...?
Truly believing in that there is no God but Him almighty Allah, the One God, the Merciful, the Compassionate and asking for forgiveness. No matter what you have done, God almighty is forgiving.
In Islam, there are no priests to pay to wipe you sins. You don't to tell anyone your story. It's all between you and God almighty. No middle man.
So... where do I go from here?
Converting to Islam is as simple as reciting the following:
I witness that there is no god but Allah. I witness that Muhammad is his prophet
Strongly believing in these words. The more you immerse, research and grasp, the more you will be able understand what God Almighty wants for humanity and what we should be doing.
Read the ultimate book and guidance to Islam, the Quran. The book by which all Muslims must abide as it’s God’s almighty words to his prophet Muhammed (pbuh) for all of us.
Islam and the Quran is not for Arabs or Middle Easterners. It's a message of God almighty to all humanity, regardless of their location, their race or gender. There will be no further prophets after Muhammed peace be upon him. So it's good news for those who believe and warning for those who choose to turn their backs.
The Quran is available in English and in almost every language in existence. Here are some English translations:
